This article will explain why certain foods you may think are good for you are actually bad! And the saying is true, “You are what youeat”. So without further ado, let’s get started!

Processed Fruit Juice

Any type of juice that comes in a bottle is not good for
you. These drinks are loaded with sugar, calories, and artificial sweeteners
that will hinder your body in many ways. If you are trying to lose weight,
processed fruit drinks will add on more weight to your body than you desire.

Also the high amount of sugar and fructose in these drinks
can lead to other health risks such as a greater risk of developing diabetes, and
increase risk of heart issues.

So with that being said, just stay away from them, or drink them moderately.

Farmed Fish (Tilapia, Atlantic Salmon)

There are many reasons why you should not eat farmed fish, so
I am going to list a few of them here.

Farmed fish carry “Super lice” which is unable to be
eradicated. Also a lot of farmed fish have been treated with pesticides which
is obviously harmful to the human body.

Farmed fish also have 20% less protein than wild fish, which
is not beneficial to your body.

These are just 2 of many reasons why you should not eat
farmed fish. I think you get the picture that farmed fish is not good for you
and you should start eating more fish caught in the wild.


If you did not know, shrimp is very badddd for you. This is a
very unique food because it is a fan favorite especially at dinner parties.
Here are a few reasons why shrimp is bad for you

It contains additives that has negative side effects such as
reducing sperm count and increase the risk of breast cancer.

A lot of the shrimp we eat contain pesticides and chemicals.

Some of the chemicals that shrimp contains is linked to memory
loss, tremors, and certain types of cancers.

So there you have it ladies. These are the reasons why you
should eating shrimp.

White Bread

White bread is bad for you mainly because it is made from
refined wheat which is low on nutrients and can lead to fast increases in your
blood sugar. This could be disastrous especially if you are diabetic.

Another reason why white bread isn’t good for you is that it
leads to increased weight gain. The surplus of sugar will be stored in your
body and you will put on weight faster than you can imagine.

If you really have to eat bread switch over to whole wheat
bread. It’s healthier, natural, and won’t give you nearly as much health problems.


This one is a shocker to most people because the majority of
people believe that apples are good for you. Well, I want to inform you that
they carry many health risks that may have you think twice about eating them.

One health risk is that apples contain pesticides.
Pesticides are no good for you and can cause many health issues later on in
your life.

Another reason apples are not good for you is that they are

A study published in 2011 in the Journal of Dentistry found
that eating apples might be up to four times more damaging to teeth than
carbonated drinks.

Eating too much of them, especially at a slow pace will
damage your enamel and ruin your teeth. Eat the fast if you don’t want the acid
to ruin your teeth.

One last health risk associated with apples is that the
seeds are also known as “pips” contain a high amount of cyanide that a lot of
people are unaware of. If you swallow them in small amounts no harm will come
to you. But if you swallow or chew large amounts the effects can be dangerous,
even fatal. Make sure to spit these seeds out, and if you give them to children
make sure to cut up the apples so they are just eating the fruit without the

Packaged Turkey

Packaged turkey is bad, bad, badddd for you! The main reason
why is because its contains a very high amount of sodium. Too much sodium can
lead to health risks such as high blood pressure, headaches, kidney disease, increased
water retention and a whole host of other health problems.

It’s best to just away from packaged turkey in the grocery
store and cook your own. It will be much healthier for you in the long run.

Flavored Yogurt

Flavored Yogurt is full of sugar and artificial sweeteners
which is obviously bad for you. If you are eating flavored yogurt, stop right
now and switch to Greek yogurt. The increase in sugar is going to spike your
blood sugar which is very dangerous if you have type 2 diabetes, and the sugar
will definitely pack on the pounds and store fat.

Greek yogurt is full of healthy protein, B-12, potassium, and
its high in metabolism which will help you burn fat much faster.

Protein Bars

People think protein bars are healthy but in reality, these
protein bars are loaded up on so many calories you might as well eat a candy

A lot of these protein bars contain at the very minimum 300
calories. So make sure when you buy your next protein bar, check on the calorie
count, and make sure they are made with whole foods, and not that many

Frozen Diet Dinners

You have seen these being promoted all over tv and social
media being touted as a quick and healthy option to your diet. The fact of the
matter, these diet dinners are nothing more than a sham… You and everyone else
who believe they are healthier are being played for a greater fool….

These frozen diet dinners lack vegetables (you will get a
tiny smidgen if anything), filled with preservatives and high in fats that its
just not worth you eating in the long run. You might as well take the time and
energy to fix your own food because in the end it will be healthier for you in
the long run..

Trail Mix

Trail Mix you grab from the grocery store is not as healthy
as you may think. It is packed with tons of calories, sugar and sodium that it’s
just best to stay away from it completely. The amount of unhealthy ingredients
just isn’t worth you ingesting in the end.
